Government of China to donate another 1.6 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine

“China decides to donate another 1.6 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine to SriLanka in the coming weeks to help further speed up the island's vaccination drive. We always remember all the support received from Sri Lanka when China was in trouble,” the Chinese Embassy in Colombo tweeted today (15).

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka is to receive 1.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine from the COVAX facility tomorrow (16) morning, the State Ministry of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals announced.
