The Ministry of Labour has launched a drive to collect details of private sector employees who have lost their jobs or were dismissed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, such employees are requested to provide their name, address, phone number, workplace address, date of termination and basic salary at the time of termination and forward the details before April 1. They can provide the details by contacting 011-2368502 or email irlabur456@gmail.com.
Details can also be mailed to the Commissioner General (Industrial Relations), 11th floor, 'Mehewara Piyasa,' Colombo 05.
