At least 34 political parties and alliances signed the collective agreement called "Puluwan Sri Lanka" at Waters Edge Hotel in Battaramulla, expressing their support for President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.
President Wickremesinghe is contesting the upcoming September 21 elections as an Independent candidate with an electoral alliance of political parties and civil society groups.
SJB MP A.H.M.Fowzie and Kumar Welgama were among those who signed the agreement supporting the president.
