Health Ministry called the India to expedite the credit line process to purchase pharmaceutical drugs, a senior official said
The official added that they made the request at a meeting held at the Indian High commission this week. They pointed out that there was a delay of obtaining drugs and medical equipment via Indian credit line.
India has awarded a 20 million USD heath care credit line to Sri Lanka.
The official added that Indian High Commissioner, Gopal Bagley had given a positive response for the requests made.
