Health authorities call public to be cautious after finding new UK COVID-19 variant
The new SARS-CoV-2 variant, found in the United Kingdom, has been found in many locations in Sri Lanka, Health officials said.
They were found in samples tested from several areas including Vavuniya and Awissawella.
Accordingly health authorities have warned the public to take extra precautions.
