The first review of the USD 3 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF) approved by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Sri Lanka will be held in September.
"A team from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit Colombo between September 14 and 27, 2023, to conduct the first review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement for Sri Lanka," said an IMF Spokesperson.
The IMF's Executive Board approved the bailout package for Sri Lanka in March this year.
