The Ministry of Finance has issued a Gazette notification revoking the import restriction on several items including CCTV cameras, sports equipment, fiber board and other materials with effect from today.
The import ban was revoked for ten items including energy drinks for the tourism sector, MDF boards for furniture.
The decision to lift restrictions on CCTV camera imports has been done as they were required for security purposes.
