Today is the 20th day of the continuous protest held at Galle Face demanding that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his government resign.
Large crowds were present today at the protest site as well. Trade unions that called for a token island-wide one-day strike today were among those who marched to "Gota Go Gama" in Galle Face today to show their solidarity with the protesters.
