A group of farmer organization representatives commenced a satyagraha near Parliament premises today.
The National Agrarian Unit said more farmers are planning to join the satyagraha over a number of demands.
They demand the government to immediately compensate all farmers affected by the fertilizer issue, to take measures to bring down the cost of living, to provide farmers with a fuel relief, to immediately take action against those involved in land grab and for the removal of the present government if it is unable to solve issues faced by farmers.
