In Pictures: Final rites of Most Ven. Kotugoda Dhammawasa Thera
The final rites of the Mahanayaka of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Most Ven. Aggamaha Panditha Kotugoda Dhammawasa Thera took place today at Independence Square under State patronage.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, former President Maithripala Sirisena, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and many other current and former politicians, other dignitaries, religious leaders, foreign diplomats, Buddhist monks and members of the public were present on the occasion.
