The 29th memorial ceremony of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa was held at the Premadasa statue near the Hulftsdorp Courts Complex, today.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and his family members, relatives and party supporters attended the event.

His assassination is undoubtedly the saddest day in Sri Lankan history. During his short tenure as President the country progressed immensely. A man of his word who governed with impartiality. Sri Lanka is unlikely to see the likes of him ever.
