Sri Lanka's race to vaccinate the population in the face of a third wave of COVID-19 is now in full swing in the Western Province thanks to the delivery of Russian Sputnik V and Chinese Sinopharm vaccines.

A total of 1200 persons were vaccinated today at this location with the Sinopharm vaccine, health authorities stated.
