An ice cream Dansala organised by the Presidential Secretariat in view of Poson Full Moon Poya Day was held at the Presidential Secretariat premises at Galle Face on Saturdday (3).
Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake was among the senior officials who distributed ice cream to those who came for the Dansala.
The President's Director General of Trade Unions Saman Rathnapriya was also present on the occasion.
The Dansala was also held yesterday (4).
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
