In Pictures: Protesters call on Govt. to protect local businesses
The National Trade Protection Council held a protest in Pettah. They first made their way to the head office of People's Bank before going on to the Presidential Secretariat, the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank.
The protesters demanded that authorities take action to safeguard local businesses.
