In Pictures: COVID vaccination begins for people in Western Province
Health authorities have now begun vaccinating members of the public in the Western Province with the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID vaccine.
The vaccination drive in the province has been accelerated after a new varient of COVID-19 previously seen in the UK and other countries was detected from several places in the Western Province.
The following images are of members of the public being vaccinated in Raddolugama in the Gampaha district today.
