The new Research and Training Complex of the Jaffna University's Agriculture Faculty was vested with the students at a ceremony held today at the Jaffna University's Kilinochchi Campus.
The complex was declared open by Education Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris and Japan's Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Akira Sugiyama
Construction of the complex was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Japanese Government has made a total investment of R 2.2 billion to finance the new complex.
