The Colombo District Convention of the Mawbima Janatha Party was held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium today (17). A large crowd was seen in attendance at the event. The Convention was held under the theme "Towards a 'Happy Nation' and Entrepreneurial State."
The main speech was delivered by party leader Dilith Jayaweera. Former Ministers Sarth Amunugama and Hemakumara Nanayakkara, athlete Shehan Ambepitiya and former Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahampath also delivered speeches at the event.
