Hundreds of both state and private-owned vehicles and properties were damaged during unrest incidents yesterday across the country.
Over thirty houses belonging to government Ministers and politicians were torched by angry protesters yesterday while buses that were used to transport pro-government supporters were also identified and burned by protesters.
At least six persons are so far confirmed to have died during the unrest that erupted after Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) supporters attacked peaceful protesters at "Maina Go Gama" at Temple Trees and "Gota Go Gama" at Galle Face.
