National Defence College is the culmination of a long-term need of the country, says President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
He was speaking at the opening ceremony of the National Defence College this morning (11). The National Defence College is established at the Defence Ministry-owned historic ‘Mumtaz Mahal’ building, Galle Road, Colombo 3.
The Defence College is the first and the highest educational and research institution established with the intension of educating the top executive officers of the Tri-Forces, Police and the Government on national security and strategic studies.
