In pictures: Protestors on the road seeking relief for people

Islandwide protests over the increased fuel prices, lack of fertilizer and the rising cost of living were held in several parts of the country today (30) as well.

A JVP protest took place in Nawalapitiya today as part of their nationwide protests demanding relief to people.

Meanwhile farmers in Nuwara Eliya were protesting over the failure to provide fertilier for vegetable farmers today.

In the Neluwa town small-scale tea estate owners were seen yesterday (29) in a protest campaign demanding fertilizer.
