In pictures: Sapugaskanda oil slick

The recent furnace oil overflow from the Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery was due to inadequate supervision and operation of the slop oil which is stored in pits or tanks in the Oil Refineries, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation's Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya wing's Secretary Ananda Palitha said.

Pictures show the damage done in the surrounding area.
