Heavy rain for the past few days have triggered a flood situation in Jaffna town.
With roads leading to the main bus stand going under water, both the public and shop keepers were seen complaining of a poor drainage system.
With businesses being severely affected, businessmen in Jaffna town urge the Jaffna Municipal Council to take immediate measures to fix the drain system thereby preventing future flood situations. (Pix by Romesh Madushanka)
