The Supreme Court sentenced MP Ranjan Ramanayake to four years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) over a case of Contempt of Court.
The three-judge bench comprising Justices Sisira de Abrew, Vijith Malalgoda and Preethi Padman Surasena were unanimous in the verdict.
