India’s Minister of External Affairs Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived in Sri Lanka today.
State Minister of Foreign Affairs Tharaka Balasuriya and Governor of the Eastern Province Senthil Thondaman received the visiting Minister.
He is scheduled to meet with President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Foreign Minister Ali Sabry.
In addition he will also meet with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and Tamil parties before leaving later in the day.
