The Sri Lanka Navy has busted a Kerala Ganja smuggling racket between Indian and Sri Lankan fishermen detecting 434 Kgs (estimated value Rs 50 million) off Mannar.
The Kerala Ganja stock transported by the Indian fishermen had been found in the boat of the Lankan fishermen off the Kudiramalai point.
The Navy based in Kalpitiya who carried out the raid said the suspects – five Indians and five Lankans arrested and two boats seized were due to be produced before a Magistrate this evening.
