The Laggala –Dumbara information center at the Knuckles mountain range has been re-opened for the general public.
The information center which is situated at the Pitawala law land area near the knuckles mountain range which was closed for the tourists due to the covid -19 pandemic during the past years.
The information center which operates under the forest department has exhibits of items used by ancestors of the laggala villagers.
The center also has charts which have information regarding the area geography, animal species and statistical data.
the forest department has allowed tourist to visit and observe the information center free of charge.
