The Japanese government will provide 1,230 million Japanese Yen through the Japan International Cooperation Agency for a project to provide electricity by establishing solar energy generation systems at Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, Kurunegala Teaching Hospital and Ratnapura Teaching Hospital.
With an intention of increasing the efficiency of the health sector, the cabinet approved the proposal made by President Wickremesinghe in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies.
