Joint Army-Navy operation rescues 58 flood victims in Mannar
A joint rescue operation was conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy and Army from November 29 to Dececember 1, in response to severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall in the Mannar, Nanattan, Murunkan, Vidayanakulam and Settikulam areas.
Through this operation, fifty-eight (58) affected individuals were rescued and relocated at safer locations.
