Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake today (3) announced that Kadiravel Shanmugam has been selected to fill the post left by TNA leader R. Sampanthan’s demise.
Shanmugam received 16,770 votes while running on the TNA ticket in the 2020 General Elections from the Trincomalee District.
The National Democratic Front (NDF) party secretary has unilaterally nominated Ravi Karunanayake for the coalition’s national list parliamentary seat this morning (18), former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said.
