A Kuwaiti national was injured after a Sri Lankan national attacked him in the Bibile area following a family dispute, Police said.
The local had entered into an argument with his own wife as the woman working in Kuwait had brought the owner of the house where she is employed, for a visit to Sri Lanka.
The 80 year old Kuwaiti national along with his driver who is a Sri Lankan were injured in the attack and have been admitted to the Bible hospital.
The man, following the argument had also set fire to the house and in the incident his father had sustained burn injuries. He succumbed to his injuries.
A Magisterial inquiry is underway into the death.
Police have sought the services of a translator to record a statement of the Kuwaiti national.
