The first 3,700 metric tonnes of an LPG shipment from the controversial OQ Gas company of Oman scheduled to arrive at the Colombo Port tomorrow (Wednesday) is being delayed by three days and will now arrive on Saturday, Power and Energy Ministry sources said.
In addition two more shipments from this company under the deal of 100,000 MT procured at a high price were also expected to arrive at the Colombo Port on July 11 and 16 of the LP gas order placed by Litro Company, a senior official of Litro confirmed. (Bandula)
