Ms Rochelle Abeygunawardena, daughter of Member of Parliament Rohitha Abeygunawardena, arrested over an incident of registering an illegally assembled vehicle was granted bail by the Matugama Magistrate court today.
She was released on on two Rs. 2 million surety bails after being produced by the Walana Anti-Vice Unit to courts.
Earlier her husband, Dhanushka Weerakkody was arrested over the same offence and is currently in remand custody
