A Macedonian national was arrested with 350grams of Cocaine at the Bandaranaike International Airport by the Narcotics Control Division of the Customs, today.
The 54 year old suspect was handed over to the Sri Lanka Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigations.
Customs officials said he was arrested after being checked due to his suspicious behavior on arrival.
The cocaine, was carefully hidden in his travel bag in four packets and packed like soup packets.
The market value of this cocaine was estimated to be close to Rs 17 million.
