The hot springs at Madunagala near Suriyavewa in Hambantota district has turned to be a popular tourist destination.
Many of the local and foreign tourists visit the location managed by Ruhunu Tourism ministry where six hot water wells are found.
Many people who visit Kataragama do not forget to bathe here as there is a belief that this water has some medicinal properties.
