Maj. Gen. Priyantha Perera, new Army Chief of Staff
Maj. Gen. Priyantha Perera has been appointed to the second-highest office in the Sri Lanka Army - the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army effective from July 17, Defense Ministry said.
Maj. Gen. Priyantha Perera presently serving as Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna is also the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
According to the Army sources, he is the 58th Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
