A 39 year old who threatened persons with death using a toy pistol, was arrested in Wattala, the Special Task Force (STF) said today.
The man had arrived in a Toyota Land Cruiser car attached with fake number plates and threatened presons with death on Thurday.
The STF had investigated the scene, through CCTV cameras placed in a nearby shop, and had conducted a raid in Lansiyawatta, Wattala, where they arrested the suspect.
The Ja-Ela resident arrested was in possession of a fake pistol, a red Toyota Land Cruiser, a fake number plate.
