A person with eight forged ballot papers marked for a political party has been arrested in Puttalam, today afternoon, Police said.
The ballot papers were marked for the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC).
The arrest was made near the Al Cassim polling booth.
Police said that the forged ballot paper was similar to the genuine ballot papers.
