The minor tremor of 3.7 magnitude reported from the seas area off the coasts of Beruwala this afternoon has no threat to Sri Lanka, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) said.
The tremor was reported around 01:00 p.m. this afternoon.
The GMSB says the tremor was around 34 kilometres off Beruwala.
