Sections of the Maha Sangha who launched a Satyagraha campaign in Colombo on Thursday (11) have vowed to carry on their campaign island wide calling the government to institute action against those responsible for the Easter Sunday attacks.
The Sathayagraha was attended by monks representing all three sects at the Independence Square.
Ven Galagodaatte Ganasara thera said they hope to continue similar protests in other parts of the country until justice is fulfilled.
Among the demands are that victims of the attacks should be given justice.
They also condemned what they call attempts to silence Buddhist organisations.
