MPs from the National People's Power (NPP) are boycotting Parliamentary proceedings today (6) in support of the hartal called across the country.
NPP Parliamentarian Dr Harini Amarasuriya stated this on Twitter earlier today. She said that the NPP stood in solidarity with the people.
The NPP has three MPs in Parliament. They are Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Vijitha Herath and Dr Harini Amarasuriya.
