NPP MP Mohamed Faizal’s vehicle was involved in a fatal accident in Wennappuwa today morning, Police said.
The MP was travelling to Parliament when the accident occurred.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested.
The accident took place in the koswatta police area.
The victim was 65 years old.
The driver had fallen asleep, according to police investigations.
