Nandalal to head CB for next six years
Central Bank Governor Nandalal Weerasinghe will be reappointed as the Governor for the next six years starting from July 04, Prime Minister’s Media Division said.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has given approval for his appointment today. Earlier President Rajapaksa gave his consent for Dr. Weerasinghe to continue as CB Governor.
Dr. Weerasinghe is still serving the term of former Governor Indrajith Coomaraswamy.
