Navy seized over 35 kg of Kerala Cannabis in Jaffna today (19)
In a search operation carried out in the Mamunai area of Jaffna, the Navy detected 18 packages containing Kerala Cannabis weighing 35 kg and 900g.
The packages had been placed on the roadside.
The gross street value of the seized Kerala cannabis is believed to be Rs. 11 million. The consignment of narcotic drugs has been kept in the naval custody until they are produced for onward legal proceedings.
