The Navy detected over 92kg of Kerala Cannabis in the Mannar area yesterday(30).
In a search operation carried out by the Navy in the Iluppukadawai lagoon area in Mannar they discovered 92kg and 250g of Kerala Cannabis in 42 packages which was hidden in three suspicious sacks. The gross street value of the cannabis detected is around Rs.30 million.
The seized items were handed over to the authorities for further legal action.
