Mrs. J.J. Muraleetharan assumed duties as the new District Secretary of Batticaloa district today at the Secretariat office following the appointment letter issued by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena in his capacity as Minister of Public Administration and Management.
As a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) with over three decades of service, Mrs Muraleetharan previously served as Deputy Secretary under the Eastern Provincial Council in the recent past. (Pix and News by Theva Athiran)
