New MP for Kalutara district to be gazetted

News

A name of a new Member of Parliament is to be gazetted to fill in the vacancy of Mahinda Samarasinghe from the Kalutara district.

Accordingly Lalith Warnakumara's name will be gazetted by the Elections Commission tonight.

Mr Samarasinghe resigned to take up the post of the Sri Lanaka's Ambassador in the United States.
