President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed Senior Professor Nilanthi Renuka de Silva as the Vice Chancellor of Kelaniya University.
The President's office said the appointment will be effective for a three-year term from 24th August 2023.
The Government is finalising a list of names to be posted as heads of Sri Lanka’s missions abroad with ex-Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya assuming the position of Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
