All Night mail trains have been canceled today due to a 24 hour token strike by the Station Masters Union.
The President of the Station Masters Union, Sumeda Somratne said that they would withdraw from services from today.
He said that they had called the strike over 16 demands which include issues over recruitment procedure, promotions as well as issues in station master uniform allowances.
