No Sri Lankan is reported to be residing in Defne and Samandag districts in Hatay province where another two powerful earthquakes hit Turkey on Monday (20), Sri Lanka Embassy in Ankara said.
Two earthquakes with a magnitude of 6.4 hit Defne district of Hatay province and a magnitude of 5.8 hit Samandag district last night. There have been 38 aftershocks and tremors.
Three have died and 213 have been injured from yesterday’s earthquakes, the Embassy said.
