The Indian High Commission in Colombo refuted reports that suggested India refused to accept the credentials of Sri Lankan High Commissioner-designate to India Asoka Milinda Moragoda who assumed duties last week.
“There is no truth in reports about non-acceptance of ‘credentials’ of the High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka to India by the Government of India,” the High Commission said in a statement.
